Newborn sessions are best scheduled when your baby is between 7-14 days old, when they are naturally sleepier and more easily posed. I offer special bundled packages for maternity and newborn sessions booked together, and availability is limited. Because I book up quickly, I recommend reserving your newborn session before your baby arrives to ensure a spot on my calendar.

All newborn sessions take place in my beautiful Nashville area studio and typically last anywhere from 90 minutes to 3 hours. I take a relaxed, baby led approach that allows time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling, so you never feel rushed. Your comfort and your baby’s well being are always my top priorities.

I am a newborn safety certified photographer, and every session is handled with the utmost care, patience, and attention to detail. My studio, equipment, and props are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each session to ensure a safe and healthy environment for your family. Birth Photography

My birth photography experience is designed to document your story with intention, respect, and care. I am on call 24 hours a day beginning at 37 weeks, ensuring availability whenever labor begins. A professional backup birth photographer is always secured for peace of mind. I typically arrive during active labor (around 6–7 cm) and remain through delivery, capturing the first moments after birth and up to one hour postpartum. Every birth session also includes a Fresh 48 hospital visit the following day, documenting your baby’s earliest hours in a natural, documentary style.

Prior to your due date, we’ll schedule a birth consultation to review your birth plan, preferences, and comfort levels. My approach is quiet and unobtrusive — a true “fly on the wall” style — allowing your birth team to work uninterrupted while your story unfolds authentically. Birth photography packages are available on their own or can be combined with an in-studio newborn session or maternity session add-on for a seamless, full-story experience.
